Modeling and Simulation of mixed systems
The world is analog! But only the whole simulation of all system components with their different physical working principle (electrical, mechanical, magnetic, etc.) let us show the weakness and strength of the system in the environment. For that purpose we must represent every component, from sensor over control to actor, into the computers world.
The following example shows a screen dump of a parameterization program for
a high power magnet valve developed for the company Robert Bosch GmbH.
This program works in a mixed language environment (Tcl/Tk, Fortran77, C)
under UNIX and is using the simulator Saber from Avant! Inc. and optimization
routines from the numeric library IMSL.
