Software tools and methods in modeling and extraction
Software is a important issue in the area of device and process characterization. The used software
tools can classified to the following applications:
- Measurement software for IEEE488 - control and data acquisition
- Extraction software for parameter extraction
- WEVA - a Program system for parameter extracion
of mixed systems and technologies.
- OPTIMOD - a Program for global
SPICE - device parameterization
- Local working programs for Bipolar modeling, also with consideration
of RF behavior, quasi saturation, case description and self heating
effects.
- Macro modeling of complex analog devices with regard of measurement data
and data sheet entries
- OPA and TRANSIMP - Programs for
extended modeling of Operational- and Transimpedance amplifier
- Programs for modeling of OPAs, Transimpedance amplifier and
comparators, Model transformation device model - macro model
- Simulators and Evaluation- and documentation software
- HSpice, Saber, PSpice, SPICE2G6, Spice3f4 for verification of extracted
parameter sets and model continuity in simulator.
- Data transformation and vizualization with octave and gnuplot.
- Support programs
- Layout program for development of test structures.
- Program PISCES-II for device simulation
as a support in technological based device modeling.
A lot of other programs are developed by DAnalyse GmbH, based on a longterm
industrial experience. Because of the availability of source code this
programs can adapted in a flexible way to the wide range of tasks in
measurement and modeling.
